Tico Souza just finished recording his EP with Luke Maxim, Tico & Luke, and has had the amazing opportunity to have had the mastering done by the multi Grammy-winner Peter J. Moore. He has worked with many famous artists such as Neil Young, Joni Mitchell, Diana Krall, Oscar Peterson and has been nominated for multiple Juno awards.
Souza just finished his studies at Humber College, graduating with a Bachelors of Music and multiple awards.
He also spent much of the Spring collaborating with many other student artists at Humber, including producing the Graham Ko album and recording with the Kirk MacDonald Composers Collective Ensemble.

This Fall season, Tico has his plate full of recordings for the Tico Souza Band, preparing for the new album release next year. He will also be doing a series of recordings with special guest vocalist, Luke Maxim. Performances this Fall include Toronto’s annual StreetSide Festival for the Pan Am Games with Juno Award Nominee, Aline Morales, along with artists such as Maninho Costa, Lisa Martinelli, as well as a number of shows with the Alma Quartet. Keep checking in for more new material that will be coming soon online to Tico’s YouTube and SoundCloud.
